Linda Segal Crawley
New York, NY
playwright and actor
Linda Segal Crawley began her theatrical career as an actor appearing on a variety of stages including the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, the Hartford Stage Company, the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, and in improvisational theater with The Second City on Broadway. She then turned her outstanding comic talent to playwriting. She transforms comedic cautionary stories into plays that raise questions about perceptions of reality and the behavioral patterns resulting from them. Her plays, including Moving Day, Valentine, Beagleman & Brackett have been produced in New York at many off-Broadway and experimental theatres, as well as the Actor’s Studio, American Kaleidoscope, and the Lincoln Center Library, and at the Studio Theatre on the Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
