Chris McCann is an actor dedicated to the craft of acting that brings an audience viscerally into the world of the play. McCann graduated from NYU’s School of the Arts Theater Program in 1974. He has worked with directors Joseph Chaikin, Richard Foreman, Lucien Pintilie, and Robert Woodruff in theaters in New York and across the US, including Lincoln Center, The Public Theater, the Guthrie, and Arena Stage. He has performed in Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, La Jolla, CA, and Seattle, WA, working with ensembles such as the Shaliko Public Theatre and Theater Works. He has appeared with actors Holly Hunter, Kevin Kline, Sam Waterston, and Al Pacino and has worked with such authors as Carol Churchill, Tony Kushner, Sam Shepard, John Guare, and David Mamet.
